Exciting news for Chippenham’s small business community! I’m thrilled to announce that Support Small UK is launching in the area, and I’m proud to be leading this initiative alongside Laura Hutchings.

As a small business owner myself, I know firsthand how important it is to have a strong local network, and this initiative is all about fostering that support.

Why I’m Excited About This Initiative

As the owner of Giftwrapped by Eve, I’ve experienced the challenges and rewards of running a small business. I know how vital support like this is to help businesses flourish. Setting up and running a small business can be tough, and at times, it can feel quite lonely. That’s why I’m so passionate about bringing people together through Support Small UK.

Laura Hutchings, my co-host for the Chippenham initiative, shares this enthusiasm: “For the last few years, I’ve been passionate about promoting and supporting independent businesses. I’m thrilled to represent Chippenham as a local host for Support Small UK.”

What is Support Small UK?

Support Small UK is a national organisation dedicated to championing independent businesses across the country. Through events, campaigns, and resources, the initiative helps entrepreneurs succeed while strengthening community connections.

Founder Izzy Weatherall explains the vision behind the initiative: “Support Small UK began as a way to highlight the incredible talent, creativity, and innovation found in small businesses—from artisans and creators to family-run shops and services. Through this initiative, I hope to inspire more people to shop small and support the heart of our local economies.”
