Introduction to Faux Calligraphy with guest expert

The basic rule of calligraphy is that all 'downstrokes' are thick, so you would usually apply pressure to your brush pen, however brush pens and nib and ink do not work on all surfaces. For example glass or slate. In order to achieve the appearance of calligraphy you can use 'faux calligraphy', also known as 'fake calligraphy'.
This is where you make the downstrokes thicker by drawing them out and then colouring them in, therefore giving the appearance of calligraphy.
In this masterclass Natalie will teach you the basic strokes and how to put them together to create beautiful ‘fake’ calligraphy.
